Random Hacks of Kindness June 1-2

Our next event will be a Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) hackathon on June 1-2! The purpose of this event is to facilitate problem solving and collaborations between citizens, communities, and organizations working toward applying civic technologies for social change.

This event is being organized in conjunction with the White House’s National Day of Civic Hacking (NDoCH) by volunteers with Code for Boston, CrisisCamp Boston, Open Government Boston, Geeks without Bounds, and Random Hacks of Kindness.

first administrative update

The CrisisCamp Boston web assets have been successfully transferred to the new leadership team, and I’ve begun to tighten the overall user experience between them by updating language and cross-linking them.

I’m setting this blog up to act as the official presence for the group. A few posts chronicling our groups recent history will soon follow.

Our next event will be the first weekend in June, details forthcoming.

Stay tuned!
